With a final Transnational Meeting that took place in Cottbus on September the 24th 2024, the three partners, namely the BK Consult GmbH (Germany), the AKMI International (Greece), and the Opinion and Action (Cyprus) concluded successfully the “Rotate” Erasmus project.
The “ROTATE – Fund Raising for Start-up Business project developed a practical training toolkit that equips both entrepreneurs and VET trainers with the skills necessary for success in startup fundraising. It also provides accessible resources tailored to those who may have limited educational opportunities, such as youngsters and others in the local communities.
During the last meeting, a training course took place at the premises of the community -owned Starblock B at Cottbus that offers a unique work space for young entrepreneurs. Young entrepreneurs of the German city took part in 3 sessions of training making full use of the e-learning platform of Rotate – link https://project-rotate.eu/
They were able to learn more on soft skills needed, including communication, negotiation, and networking, crucial for successful fundraising. They were also trained how to prepare an idea that has a potential to get funding according to a step-by-step guide that facilitates identifying potential investors, crafting a compelling pitch, and understanding different funding sources. Finally the participants learned how to create a business plan.
“Rotate” partners confirmed that all deliverables, the training material and the e-platform have been developed and tested timely.
